Vidyame is an educational platform and application that provides access to cultural and educational content related to Indic civilization. Our Services include, but are not limited to, curated textbooks, video courses, podcasts, animations, literature, and community learning features. Our platform is designed for educational, cultural, and spiritual learning purposes. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time.

3. User Accounts and Authentication

To access personalized features of Vidyame, you may create an account or authenticate using Google Sign-In. When using our Services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account or authenticating through Google OAuth

  • Maintain the security of your account and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

  • Be solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

  • Use Google Sign-In only for your own Google account; you may not use another person's credentials

  • Accept that Vidyame uses Google OAuth solely for authentication and account creation purposes

  • Understand that account suspension or termination may occur for violations of these Terms

Vidyame does not store your Google password. All authentication is handled securely through Google's OAuth services.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Vidyame only for lawful educational purposes. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Abuse, harassment, or harmful conduct toward other users or our platform

  • Scraping, data mining, or using automated tools to extract content or user data without authorization

  • Unauthorized automation, bots, or scripts that interfere with platform functionality

  • Copyright infringement, including unauthorized distribution of educational content

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of our Services, systems, or other users' accounts

  • Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity

  • Uploading or distributing malware, viruses, or any malicious code

  • Using the platform to distribute harmful, offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content

  • Circumventing any security measures or access controls on the platform

  • Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Services

Violation of these acceptable use standards may result in immediate account suspension or termination, and may be reported to appropriate legal authorities.

5. Intellectual Property and Content Ownership

All Vidyame platform branding, logos, design, software, and original compilations are the property of Vidyame and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Educational and cultural content provided through our platform may be owned by Vidyame or licensed from third-party content creators, scholars, and educational institutions. Third-party content remains the property of its respective owners.

You may access and use the content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or exploit any content without our prior written consent or the consent of the respective content owner.

6. User-Generated Content

If our Services allow you to submit, post, or share content such as comments, discussions, or contributions ("User Content"), you retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting User Content, you grant Vidyame a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving our educational Services.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to submit User Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights, applicable laws, or these Terms. Vidyame reserves the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of Vidyame is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including data obtained through Google Sign-In. By using our Services, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your data in accordance with industry standards and Google's API Services User Data Policy.

8. Donations and Payments

Vidyame accepts voluntary donations to support our mission of preserving and sharing Indic literature and culture. All donations are processed securely through Stripe. By making a donation, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide. Donations are non-refundable except in cases of processing errors. 9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for accuracy, Vidyame makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the content on our platform. The educational and cultural content is provided for general information, educational enrichment, and spiritual learning purposes and should not be considered professional advice.

We do not guarantee that our Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. You acknowledge that your use of the platform is at your sole risk.

10. Limitation of Liability
